Administrative Hallway Gallery

The Administrative Hallway Gallery is located on the South side of the Lewisville Grand Theater, this gallery space offers approximately 75 feet of art display. Exhibitions featured in this hallway usually feature a solo artist's work, or small group exhibitions.

Absolutely Abstract invites viewers into a world where imagination takes the lead and reality steps aside. Featuring work by members of the Visual Art League of Lewisville, this exhibition celebrates the limitless possibilities of abstraction—where shape, color, texture, line, and form become the primary language of expression.

Abstract art departs from literal representation, sometimes subtly and sometimes completely, resulting in compositions that evoke emotion, movement, and curiosity rather than recognizable objects. From gentle distortions of the familiar to fully non-referential explorations, the artworks in this show highlight the bold experimentation and creative freedom that abstraction inspires.

The Visual Art League of Lewisville will host an opening reception on Saturday, Jan. 10, from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Art Gallery. The exhibition runs Jan. 10 – Feb. 7, 2026.
