Small Works

Discover the power of art on an intimate scale in Small Works, a juried exhibition presented by the Visual Art League of Lewisville. Featuring original works measuring 11 x 14 inches or smaller, the exhibition showcases an impressive range of artistic media, styles, and perspectives created by VAL member artists.

Though modest in size, these works invite close observation, revealing rich textures, vibrant colors, intricate details, and compelling compositions. From painting and photography to sculpture, fiber art, and mixed media, Small Works celebrates the creativity and craftsmanship that can flourish within a limited format while demonstrating that great art is not defined by scale. 

The exhibition runs July 18–August 15. The Art Gallery at the Lewisville Grand Theater is open to the public Tuesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., as well as during public events. Exhibitions are always free to visit.

To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center.
